titanic-160.jpgThose japesters in the Sky press office have excelled themselves with this latest wheeze - showing the Titanic movie in high definition in a swimming pool.

Film fans can get into the spirit of Oscars® Season on Tuesday 17th February as Sky+HD presents a unique High Definition screening of the multi-Oscar® winning film, Titanic.

This interactive adventure will transport the audience back to the high seas of 1912 and the fateful maiden voyage of RMS Titanic. The audience will be able to play their own part in the High Definition experience as they watch the drama unfold from their very own lifeboat in the water, all in costumes from the period!

Hammy acting, Kate Winslet waterworks and dodgy Oirish accents will all be required. The Sky+HD screening will take place at the Golden Lane swimming pool, Barbican, London from 6.30pm (screening at 7.30pm). Tickets are free and limited.

Film fans can apply by emailing SkyHDTitanic@cakegroup.com and are encouraged to dress up for the occasion! Ticket includes entry to the screening and refreshments throughout the evening.

For those not lucky enough to attend, all the excitement and intensity of Titanic and other Oscar® winning classics can be experienced from the comfort of your own living room in glorious High Definition, on Sky Movies Drama throughout February.
